The 1st Beach Handball World Championship will take place as demonstrative sport at World Games 2001 Akita.


Playing Period : Thursday 23rd - Saturday 25th August, 2001

Playing Place : Honjo Marina (Honjo City, Akita Prefecture)
Transport from Ugo Honjo Station on JR Oh-u Line:
- 20 minutes by bus (get off at Tajiri) followed by 10 minutes' walk; or
- 10 minutes by taxi
