男子日本代表監督について

　公益財団法人日本ハンドボール協会(JHA)は、男子日本代表ダグル・シグルドソン監督が
男子日本代表監督から退任の意向が伝えられたことをお知らせします。
　ダグル・シグルドソン監督との契約期間はオリンピックパリ大会終了後までにもかかわら
ず、2月3日に突然本人より、オリンピックの開催を待たずに男子日本代表監督を辞任し他国
の監督に就任したい旨の意向が伝えられました。
　JHAではこの辞意を受け、契約に基づき適切に対応をしてまいりますと共に、現在協議・
検討をしております後任の男子日本代表監督の選任に関しましては、決定次第お知らせします。

The Japan Handball Association (JHA) regrets to announce that Dagur
Sigurdsson has informed of his intention to resign as coach of the JHA
Men's National Team.
On February 3, although the term of the contract with JHA is until after
the Olympic Games in Paris, Dagur Sigurdsson suddenly informed JHA of his
intention to resign as coach of JHA Men's National Team and take position
as a coach of another country before Olympics.
JHA intends to respond appropriately to his intention to resign in
accordance with the contract. The selection of a successor for the coach of
the Men's National Team is under urgent consideration, and will be
announced as soon as a decision is made.
